Job Description

Role: Warehouse Operation Management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Operations Management

  • Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities, including receipt, storage, preservation, and dispatch of commodities.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all inward and outward transactions (Weighment, GRN, Gate Pass, Delivery Order, etc.).
  • Maintain real-time inventory records in NCML systems (CM Pro / Storeman).
  • Implement SOPs for smooth functioning of Exchange and Non-Exchange Warehouses.

2. Quality, Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure quality standards of stored commodities through regular inspections, fumigation, and preservation activities.
  • Maintain compliance with FSSAI, WDRA, and audit guidelines.
  • Adhere to NCMLs health, safety, and hygiene protocols within warehouse premises.
  • Address non-compliances and take corrective actions promptly.

3. Inventory & Risk Management

  • Conduct periodic physical verification and reconciliation of stocks with system data.
  • Prevent losses through effective security, handling, and stock management measures.
  • Ensure proper insurance coverage for commodities and timely claim processing in case of discrepancies or incidents.

4. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead and supervise warehouse staff, including supervisors, weighbridge operators, and support personnel.
  • Conduct training sessions to ensure adherence to company processes and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with CSG, CMS, QA, Finance, and Audit teams for smooth operational flow.

5. Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, banks, and institutions availing NCMLs warehousing and collateral management services.
  • Ensure timely updates on stock position, documentation, and dispatch schedules.
  • Support clients during inspections, stock audits, and verifications.

6. Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to stock, operations, and manpower utilization.
  • Maintain all statutory and operational records as per company and regulatory requirements.

7. Operational Efficiency & Cost Control

  • Optimize resource utilization to improve turnaround time and warehouse productivity
  • Monitor operational expenses and ensure cost-effective management of warehouse operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Graduate in Agriculture.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in warehouse or commodity management
