JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Manager/ Senior Manager with specialization in GST and taxation to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing and filing GST and Income Tax returns, managing accounts, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. This role demands strong analytical abilities, excellent record-keeping, and a deep understanding of Indian tax laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) and Income Tax returns for the group by analyzing financial data.
  • Perform direct and indirect tax calculations, make tax payments, and maintain summaries for output and input taxes.
  • Assist in departmental cases and assessments related to Direct and Indirect Taxes.
  • Support internal, external, and statutory audits by preparing required documents and reconciliations.
  • Raise tax invoices and ensure timely and accurate invoicing processes.
  • Perform budgeting and forecasting activities and provide variance analysis.
  • Handle General Ledger accounting, including Accounts Payable and Receivable.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations (BRS) and manage loan interest calculations.
  • Oversee data entry, cash and bank handling, and ensure accurate accounting records.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth accounting operations and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Accounting operations including Journal entries to be done for invoices and online payment of invoices with passing entries in accounts.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: B. Com / M. Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3–5 years in accounting, with strong exposure to GST, Income Tax, and statutory audits.

Skills:

  • Sound knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Tally/ERP systems, MS Excel, and tax filing portals.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and reconciliations.
  • Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
