About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Implementation Engineer with strong expertise in Python, Unix/Linux environments, and containerized systems. The role involves working with complex, high-performance systems in the financial markets domain, including exposure to OneTick, a proprietary time-series database and real-time analytics platform.

This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy problem-solving, collaborating with global teams, and working closely with clients in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Python-based solutions for data processing and system integration
  • Work on Unix/Linux environments using
    Bash scripting
    for automation and operational tasks
  • Deploy and manage applications using
    Docker and Kubernetes
  • Support workflow orchestration and scheduling using
    Airflow
  • Write and maintain unit tests using
    Pytest
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using
    Scrum/Agile methodologies
  • Use
    GitLab CI/CD
    pipelines for build, test, and deployment automation
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues and ensure high system reliability
  • Engage with clients to understand requirements and support implementation activities

Technical Skills & Tools:

  • Programming:
    Python 3 (strong hands-on experience)
  • Scripting:
    Unix/Linux, Bash
  • Data & Analysis:
    Pandas (good to have), JupyterHub
  • DevOps & Cloud:
    Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow
  • CI/CD:
    GitLab CI/CD
  • IDEs & Tools:
    PyCharm or equivalent IDE
  • Collaboration:
    Jira, Confluence
