Data Control Specialist

Role & responsibilities

  • Accurate and timely creation of customer files
  • Understand key financial controls, customer contract and policy setup to support the correct file creation
  • Identify and resolve issues where file creation information is missing, impacting the ability to make key operational decisions
  • Manage and escalate authorizations for US Sanctioned countries
  • Manage and process update requests to customer files dentification and communication of potential gaps in coding matrices to leadership
  • Assist with new system roll outs and testing
  • Assists with data integrity reports and projects
  • Perform OFAC checks on customers when required
  • Support training of new team members
  • Other projects and tasks as required by management in support of continued process improvement

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduate with 2-4 years work experience in a customer or business operations role
  • Back-office experience with excellent oral/written communication skills
  • Prior relocation industry experience would be an advantage
  • Customer service mindset with demonstrated ability to take initiative, move with speed, plan for the unexpected, overcome barriers, and be resilient
  • Excellent comprehension & compositions skills - ability to clearly understand and address customer issues appropriately and compose grammatically correct, concise, and accurate written responses
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows environment (Teams, Excel, Outlook, Word,) with strong data input skills
  • Candidate with experience in KYC operations, Healthcare billing or similar processes will be preferred
