Duties
- Program Management: Plan, execute, and deliver large-scale technology programs and projects by defining scope, timelines, and resource allocation in collaboration with engineering leads.
- Agile & Sprint Facilitation: Lead and facilitate all Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring they are productive and achieve their objectives, and lessons learned are incorporated for continuous learning.
- Artifact Management: Create, maintain, and communicate key project artifacts such as project plans, roadmaps, dependency maps, CRAID logs, and status reports. You will also manage the product backlog and track sprint metrics like burndown charts and team velocity.
- Dependency Management: Proactively identify, track, and resolve cross-team dependencies and impediments, ensuring smooth collaboration and integration between different engineering pods and stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for your programs. Clearly articulate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to technical teams and executive leadership. Engage as the local liaison with boundary engineering teams to coordinate work, track dependencies and status, and facilitate issue & risk management and escalations.
- Delivery support: Support testing, cutover and hypercare phases, including providing input to plan development, and participate in execution with focus on issue management, communication and activities aligned with timezone. For example, staff and facilitate cutover and hypercare control center/war rooms during IST hours to communicate and coordinate issue resolution.
Skills
- Technical Acumen: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. You must be comfortable discussing technical concepts and architecture with engineers and communicating with business stakeholders.
- Agile Expertise: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and hands-on experience managing engineering teams in an Agile framework.
Tools Proficiency: Experience with Service Now project management software like Jira, Confluence, or similar tools, Google suite (sheets, slides, folders, docs). Preference for Smartsheet experience including dashboard builds and automation.
Education
Experience: 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Project Management, or a similar role within a software engineering environment. BTech in Computer science or relavnt stream
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹3,000, ₹3,500,000.00 per year
