About the Role :We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Network Security Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network security platforms and automation pipelines. You will leverage your expertise in network security technologies and automation tools to ensure the robustness, scalability, and efficiency of our security infrastructure.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking organization and make a significant impact on our security : Platform Design and Implementation :

  • Design, implement, and maintain network security platforms, including but not limited to, Cisco ISE or Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Develop and implement security policies and configurations to ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and solutions to enhance our network security posture.

Automation and Orchestration :

  • Develop and maintain automation pipelines using Jenkins, Terraform, and Ansible.
  • Automate security configuration management, deployment, and monitoring tasks.

Security Operations and Support :

  • Provide Tier 3 support for network security incidents and issues.
  • Perform security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Monitor network security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security threats.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network security issues.
  • Work with security operations to improve incident response times.

Collaboration and Documentation :

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and security analysts.
  • Document security configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and training to team members on network security technologies and best practices.
  • Contribute to the creation of security related documentation and diagrams.

Key Skills Required :

  • 5+ years of experience in network security engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Cisco ISE or Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Proficiency in automation tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, and Ansible.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  • Solid understanding of network security protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VPN, IPS/IDS).
  • Experience with security assessments and vulnerability scanning.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA Security, CCNP Security, PCNSE).
  • Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python.
