Role : SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) Consultant

Duration: Fulltime Hybrid

Location: Hyderabad

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP PM Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP Plant Maintenance module processes and functionalities, along with a proven ability to deliver effective solutions in diverse business environments.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP PM solutions.

Design, configure, and customize the SAP PM module to meet client-specific requirements.

Integrate SAP PM with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FI/CO) and third-party systems as necessary.

Conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users to ensure effective system usage.

Perform system testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide resolution to ensure smooth operations.

Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements.

Support the implementation lifecycle, including blueprinting, realization, go-live, and post-go-live support.

Collaborate with technical teams (ABAP, Basis) to ensure seamless project execution.

Develop and maintain documentation, including business processes, user manuals, and technical specifications.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in system configuration and deployment.

Key Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP PM implementation, configuration, and support.

In-depth knowledge of SAP PM processes such as:

Equipment and functional location management.

Maintenance planning (preventive, corrective).

Work order management.

Notifications, reporting, and KPIs.

Experience with integration points between SAP PM and other SAP modules (e.g., MM for spare parts procurement).

Proficiency in creating and testing custom reports, workflows, and user exits.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.

Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA PM is an advantage.

SAP PM Certification is a plus.

Soft Skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in dynamic environments.

Capability to mentor junior consultants and team members.

Work Environment

May require travel for client-site implementations or support.
