- Conduct field assessments of substations to evaluate infrastructure, efficiency, and compliance.
- Perform ETAP-based power flow studies, load simulations, and voltage stability analysis for solar integration readiness.
- Inspect key equipment and recommend maintenance strategies, automation upgrades, and reinforcement measures.
- Explore interconnection feasibility with nearby substations.
- Provide technical solutions for inverter tripping, power quality issues, and reverse power flow management.
- Proficient in power system software for load and stability studies.
- Prepare accurate technical reports, checklists, and upgrade recommendations.
- Collaborate with DISCOM engineers, government officials, and stakeholders for knowledge transfer.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills for field work.
- Demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and teamwork for renewable energy integration goals.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or related field.
Minimum 5 years in Power System Studies, 3 years in ETAP software experience.
Experience with DISCOMs or government agencies on power projects, including donor-funded projects.
