Job Description
A genuinely senior developer who can engage in deep technical discussions, challenge design decisions, and independently delivery high quality solution. This role will closely work with onshore tech lead to architect, design and deliver the new components of the Fortress services for FY26 key initiatives.

Responsibility

Independent problem solving: Take ownership of complex features from design to development. Propose and implement quality solution proactively

Technical collaboration: Engage in meaningful design discussions with concreate alternatives. Challenge proposed solutions with better approaches. Share knowledge through code reviews.

Quality engineering: Write clean, maintainable code. Design system that extensible. Create comprehensive testing.

Skills
7+ years of hands-on coding in server-side Java with strong emphasis on Java Concurrency, Reactive, Caching (GridGain, Redis, Coherence, Cassandra as Cache), Collections API, Messaging and Event processing across multiple streams (required)

5+ years of coding experience in multi-cast messaging (Solace / Kafka ) along with coding with relational DB (SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle) (required)

5+ years of technical design of low latency application services (required)

Expertise with test-driven development techniques (required)

Strong in writing SQL and stored procedures (required)

Effective Communication Skills (required)
Ability to work within a Linux based development and deployment environment (preferred)

Financial Services Experience, With Regulatory Reporting Experience (preferred)
Business knowledge of rates (preferred)

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes) (preferred)

Knowledge of API construction approaches (REST, GraphQL service development) (preferred)

Beh - Communication and collaboration
