We are seeking a JD Edwards ERP Architect to join the Kidde Global Solutions IT family.
This role will play a key role in the evolution of the JD Edwards E1 9.2 ERP system as part of the 'One ERP' strategy.
Defining, implementing and managing all aspects of the JD Edwards system from a standards, tool evaluation and move towards common data policies, interface connections and the SDLC controls.
This is a Technical/Functional role, and the architect will work closely with their JD Edwards COE colleague specialists, as well as our other IT teams, and cross functional business partners.

Role Responsibilities:

- Implement JD Edwards functional design and coding standards to ensure consistent quality
  solutions.

- Review and approve all development SDLC protocols, including project promotions.

- Develop Master Data standards across the entire JD Edwards application environment, as well
  as maintaining standard process templates.

- Develop and implement Organizational Change Management policies and practices in
  conjunction with related business partners.

- Ensure that all interfaces, integrations and workflows are standardized and followed as all
  elements of the IT application landscape develops.

- Investigate, review, propose and implement any JD Edwards user and productivity tools to
  increase efficiency, empower users to self-serve and innovate to support Customer satisfaction.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, ensuring a standard
  process to ensure accurate and consistent information.

- Develop and maintain documentation related to all controls, standards, infrastructure and
  process flows.

- Work with all functions of the KGS IT team to ensure transparent and effective collaboration to
  build best teams.

- Review communication and training mechanisms to ensure business leaders, IT leaders and
  JD Edwards application users are proactively informed of all aspect of the JD Edwards/ERP
 activity.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  (preferred).
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience with JD Edwards E1 application with a bias for system
  rationalization.

- Proven experience in leading and managing JD Edwards multi-function teams.

- Excellent planning, scheduling and risk management skills.

- Experience in business process analysis and gap analysis.

- Proven analytical and architectural experience in manufacturing and distribution entities.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Agile project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

- Experience with introducing standards and controls during migration and significant
 development projects.
