 Junior Purchase Executive – Brought-Out Components

Location: [Insert Location]
Salary Range: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month
Department: Procurement / Sourcing
Reporting To: Senior Purchase Executive / Purchase Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) for brought-out components as per production requirements.

  • Maintain and update Excel-based procurement logs including PO status, delivery dates, and vendor information.

  • Liaise with internal departments (stores, production, design) to understand material requirements and timelines.

  • Regularly communicate with vendors for quotations, order confirmations, and delivery updates.

  • Ensure received materials meet specification, quantity, and quality standards.

  • Maintain vendor databases and performance records.

  • Assist in resolving issues related to pricing, delivery discrepancies, or material quality.

  • Work towards improving procurement lead times and maintaining a cost-effective purchasing process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a purchasing/procurement role (preferably in a manufacturing setup).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, filtering, formulas, formatting).

  • Strong organizational, follow-up, and multitasking skills.

  • Basic knowledge of procurement processes and vendor coordination.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
