Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision & Coordination
Supervise the stewarding staff during shifts.
Assign duties and monitor performance.
Coordinate with kitchen and service departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Cleaning & Maintenance
Ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing of all kitchen equipment, utensils, pots, and pans.
Oversee cleaning schedules for kitchen areas, storage rooms, and dishwashing stations.
Ensure that all cleaning materials and chemicals are used safely and stored properly.
- Inventory & Stock Control
Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies, detergents, and equipment.
Report shortages or maintenance issues to the supervisor or maintenance department.
- Hygiene & Safety Compliance
Ensure all hygiene standards (HACCP or hotel SOPs) are strictly followed.
Conduct regular inspections of kitchen and dishwashing areas.
Train team members on hygiene, waste segregation, and chemical handling.
- Waste Management
Oversee proper disposal of kitchen waste and garbage.
Ensure waste bins are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
- Equipment Handling
Ensure dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment are operated safely and maintained in good working order.
Report breakdowns or malfunctions immediately.
- Training & Development
Train new stewards on cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and safe equipment operation.
Support the stewarding supervisor in performance evaluations.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: ₹10, ₹12,000.00 per month
