We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage and maintain all financial records related to school operations. The candidate will be responsible for handling fee collections, maintaining accurate accounts of student payments, generating financial reports, and supporting the administration in managing school finances effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and record all student fee collections and ensure timely updates.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of payments, dues, and receipts for each student.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for school management.
  • Handle cash deposits, bank reconciliations, and petty cash management.
  • Assist with preparing annual budgets, audits, and expense tracking.
  • Coordinate with the administration for inventory purchases and staff payroll if required.
  • Ensure all accounting activities comply with school policies and statutory regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and proper filing of financial documents.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in school or institutional accounting preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software (like Tally or QuickBooks).
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
