Fashion Designer cum Merchandiser

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative Fashion Designer with expertise in sarees and fabric to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to understand various fabrics and saree materials and effectively communicate their characteristics. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for managing our social media accounts, showcasing our designs, and engaging with our audience. Proficiency in social media management and a passion for sarees and fashion are essential for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Research and analyze different types of fabrics, including their texture, quality, and suitability for sarees.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in saree designs, fabrics, and fashion industry developments.
• Create detailed descriptions of fabrics and saree materials, highlighting their unique features and benefits.
• Manage and maintain social media accounts, including scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and engaging with followers.
• Collaborate with photographers, models, and stylists to create high-quality content for social media and marketing campaigns.
• Monitor social media analytics to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize content and engagement.
• Participate in photoshoots and fashion events to promote saree collections and brand awareness.

Qualifications:-

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Fashion Designer with a specialization in sarees and fabric.
• In-depth knowledge of various fabrics, including silk, cotton, chiffon, georgette, and their properties.
• Strong understanding of saree draping techniques, styles, and regional variations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to describe fabrics and saree materials effectively.
• Proficiency in social media management, including experience with platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest.
• Creative mindset with a passion for fashion, design, and sarees.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and trends.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
