Position Title: Assistant Manager-Production.

Work Location: Electronic City, Bengaluru

Gender: Male/Female

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  • 7-10 years experience in handling production and planning in CNC shopfloor.
  • Local language KANNADA is must.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsible for Production planning, executing and monitoring as per customer requirement.
  • Ensure the optimum utilization of resources- Men, machine, material, Time (Managing 4M Changes)
  • On the job training of all operating personnel
  • Ensure healthy, good and safe practices in the shop floor
  • Plan for resources as required and Ensure teamwork and motivation in the group.
  • Plan for continuous improvement on productivity.
  • Ensure smart tooling management.
  • Facilitate upgradation of skills of all Production personnel
  • Facilitate the timely support from all other functions
  • Establish proper reporting and communication system on production and planning related activities.
  • Ensure implementation of QMS and EMS and Safety and Statutory norms at shop floor
  • Part of implementation of new projects assigned
  • Facilitate Bench marking activities
  • Working with ERP system and facilitate effective use of ERP in shopfloor
  • Experience on IATF-16949 & AS9100 Rev D, AS13100, ISO45001, ISO14001

Competencies:

  • Internal Auditing skills on IATF-16949 & AS 9100 RevD, AS13100, ISO45001, ISO14001
  • Managing a team of 50-60 personnel
  • Preparing and maintaining PPAP, FMEA, SPC, Control plan, PFD & Lean manufacturing activities
