Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Accountant to join a team at Margao office. The company is a manufacturer of stainless steel equipment catering to a diverse client base, including 5-star resorts, hospitals, and modular kitchen suppliers.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and assisting in compliance and tax-related matters. You will work closely with the leadership team — reporting to both Directors, one of whom is a Chartered Accountant handling finance and taxation. Job Responsibilities:
Maintain and update daily books of accounts . Handle accounts payable and receivable, invoice generation, and vendor reconciliation Maintain bank statements, cash books, and petty cash
Assist in preparation of GST returns, TDS filings, and other statutory compliances Support in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Coordinate with external auditors and consultants
Track inventory and assist in cost accounting for manufacturing Support payroll processing in coordination with the HR/management Maintain organized records and documentation for all financial transactions
Job Requirements: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / Equivalent. Female candidates preferred .
2–4 years of experience, (preferred in manufacturing/industrial accounting) Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and general accounting software Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation
Good communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational ability Ability to work independently and report to multiple stakeholders
