Role Overview: Lead the end-to-end delivery of electrical and MEP infrastructure design across a 500+ acre, >3GW data center park. Drive concept to commissioning phases from a technical standpoint, and serve as the principal technical and program manager, guiding both internal and consultant teams, and ensuring consistency with hyperscale data center best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical: Lead design of EHV/HV systems including substations, tie-ins, cable networks, ROW planning, redundancy & renewable energy integration.
  • Cross Disciplinary Coordination: Oversee integration of electrical, mechanical, civil, telecom, security/BMS, drainage, and city-infrastructure.
  • Equipment Qualification & QA: Establish scalable qualification processes for MEP and specialist systems; administer design review, submittals, and commissioning protocols
  • Program Delivery: Own the project scope, schedule, budget, risk & KPI tracking; generate design performance related policies for the Data Center Park business; manage consultant deliveries
  • Process Development: Implement global best-practice standards, drive cost efficiencies, minimize rework, and enable design/process automation
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with internal teams (procurement, construction, operations) and external entities (authorities, contractors), manage escalations.
  • Team Leadership: Build high-performing integrated MEP teams, define roles/responsibilities, ensure deliverables and resourcing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors/Masters in Electrical Engineering.
  • 15+ years in electrical/MEP design for hyperscale or mission-critical facilities; 5 years managing multidisciplinary teams
  • Deep expertise in EHV/HV infrastructure, system redundancy, substations, utility integration.
  • Strong in PM: scope management, scheduling, budgeting, risk, cost control.
  • Proficient in electrical/MEP codes, data-center regulations (e.g., Uptime Tier standards), and utility norms.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder influence, and leadership skills.
  • Ownership mindset, driving accountability with quality-first focus.
