Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Convert customer-provided F5 configurations to equivalent Avi configurations.
  • Analyze and interpret F5 configurations and iRules to understand their functionalities.
  • Deploy and configure F5 load balancers as per customer requirements.
  • Utilize scripting skills (Python and Tcl) to automate and streamline configuration processes.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure accurate and efficient configuration conversions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to F5 and Avi configurations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding load balancer configurations.

Required Skillsets:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with F5 load balancer configurations.
  • Strong understanding of F5 iRules and their functionalities.
  • Proficiency in Python and Tcl scripting.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex F5 configurations.
  • Experience with Avi Networks load balancers is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 4-10 years of relevant experience in deploying and configuring F5 load balancers.
  • Proven track record of successful F5 to Avi configuration conversions.
  • Certification in F5 technology (e.g., F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator) is a plus
