Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Assess patients' nutritional needs, develop personalized meal plans, and provide education on healthy eating habits.
Collaboration: Work with healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition into patient care plans.
Menu Planning: Develop menus that meet patients' dietary requirements and preferences.
Food Safety: Ensure compliance with hospital food safety regulations and standards.
Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
Certification: Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Key Skills:
Nutritional Knowledge: In-depth understanding of nutrition principles, dietary guidelines, and therapeutic diets.
Communication: Ability to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
Analytical: Strong analytical skills to evaluate patients' nutritional needs and develop personalized plans.
