AMOS - TRAX Expert

Role Description

This is a contract role for an AMOS Expert in Aviation. The role is hybrid, based in the Chennai , with some work from home acceptable. The AMOS Expert will be responsible for managing and maintaining the AMOS system, ensuring the efficient operation of aircraft maintenance and aviation processes, liaising with customers, and providing excellent customer service and communication. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting issues, optimizing system performance, and providing technical support.

Qualifications

• Experience with Aircraft and Aircraft Maintenance minimum 2+ years of exp
• Strong background in Aviation
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Relevant certifications and training in aviation or aircraft maintenance are advantageous
• Ability to work independently and in a hybrid work environment
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
• Experience in TRAX MRO tool is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update aircraft maintenance records in
  AMOS
  ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Create, open, and close
  work orders
  , book labels, and track deferred defects in the system.
• Validate technical data (TSN/TSO, DOM, part tags, MEL/CDL entries) and ensure proper documentation.
• Support
  aircraft phase-in/phase-out
  activities, including data migration into AMOS.
• Provide
  user support and training
  for AMOS modules to maintenance and operations staff.
• Coordinate with CAMO, MRO, and IT teams to resolve discrepancies and improve system usage.
• Monitor system health, identify process gaps, and recommend
  system enhancements
  .
• Generate technical and compliance reports (e.g. AD/SB status, component tracking, reliability) via AMOS or BI tools.
• Ensure
  EASA/FAA/Part-CAMO regulatory compliance
  across all data and records.
• Liaise with
  Swiss-AS (AMOS vendor)
  and internal stakeholders during upgrades or new module rollouts.
• Oversee
  inventory and stores modules
  in AMOS (spares, consumables, tools) where required.
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate AMOS reports and evidence.
