About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with 2+ years of experience in Python/Django to join our team. This role involves designing and developing scalable web applications, building secure and efficient APIs, and optimizing backend services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Django REST APIs.
  • Implement JWT-based authentication and Google OAuth login.
  • Work with PostgreSQL and manage data using Django ORM.
  • Design and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services.
  • Ensure RESTful API best practices, including proper error handling and validation.
  • Implement role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Use Celery and Redis for background tasks.
  • Deploy applications on Heroku/Vercel/AWS.
  • Write and maintain unit tests for API endpoints.
  • Use Docker to containerize applications.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Python and Django.
  • Strong experience with Django REST Framework (DRF).
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL and database schema design.
  • Experience with JWT authentication and Google OAuth.
  • Knowledge of Celery and Redis for background processing.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments.
  • Experience deploying applications to Heroku/Vercel/AWS.
  • Understanding of security best practices (SQL injection, CSRF, authentication, etc.).
  • Experience with unit testing using Django's test framework or pytest.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of GraphQL.
