About the Role

We are looking for a Tally Accountant who is excellent in Tally and can independently handle day-to-day accounting, GST-related work, E-way bills, inventory, and payroll. Freshers with strong Tally skills are welcome, as well as experienced accountants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally (sales, purchase, receipts, payments, journal entries)
  • Manage ledgers, bank entries, and regular bank reconciliation
  • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and other applicable filings)
  • Create and manage E-way bills and ensure compliance documentation is maintained
  • Handle inventory management in Tally (stock items, units, stock groups, inward/outward, stock valuation)
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable follow-ups and ageing reports
  • Generate MIS reports as required (sales summary, purchase summary, GST reports, outstanding reports)
  • Prepare payroll in Tally/Excel (salary sheets, attendance-based calculations, deductions)
  • Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal records

Required Skills (Must-Have)

  • Excellent working knowledge of Tally (Tally Prime preferred)
  • Practical knowledge of GST return filing and GST reports in Tally
  • Ability to create E-way bills and manage related details accurately
  • Strong understanding of accounting basics (vouchers, ledgers, trial balance, P&L, balance sheet)
  • Good command over inventory features in Tally
  • Basic payroll preparation and salary sheet management
  • Accuracy, responsibility, and ability to meet deadlines

Eligibility

  • Education: 12th pass / Graduate (both can apply)
  • Experience: Fresher to experienced (skill matters more than years)
  • Candidates must be confident in hands-on Tally work

Preferred (Good to Have)

  • Experience in handling multiple firms/books
  • Basic Excel/Google Sheets knowledge for reports
  • Good communication and coordination skills
