Senior SAP S/4HANA CDS View Developer

Role Overview:

We are hiring a Senior SAP CDS View Developer with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA, ABAP, and CDS-based data modeling. The ideal candidate will design and develop Core Data Services (CDS) views to support analytical and transactional applications, ensuring high performance and seamless integration with SAP Fiori and OData services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize CDS views in SAP S/4HANA for business-critical applications.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Ensure best practices in data modeling, CDS annotations, and performance tuning.
  • Integrate CDS views with SAP Fiori applications, OData services, and reporting tools.
  • Conduct unit testing, debugging, and documentation of CDS artifacts.
  • Harmonize data models across SAP modules (FI, MM, SD, etc.).
  • Mentor junior developers and promote CDS development standards.
  • Stay updated on SAP BTP, CDS innovations, and S/4HANA architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in CDS View Development within SAP S/4HANA.
  • Strong command of ABAP programming, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori, OData services, and UI5 integration.
  • Proficiency in SQL, HANA modeling, and CDS annotations.
  • Familiarity with SAP BTP, integration technologies, and modular architecture.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
