Floor Incharge

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Floor Incharge to supervise and coordinate activities on the production or service floor within the automobile industry. The ideal candidate will ensure operations run smoothly, targets are met, and quality and safety standards are strictly followed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day floor activities in the [manufacturing / service / assembly] area.
• Allocate manpower, tools, and resources to meet daily production or service targets.
• Monitor production/service output and take corrective actions to minimize downtime or delays.
• Ensure adherence to quality control processes and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with other departments (like Quality, Stores, Maintenance) for smooth workflow.
• Train and guide floor staff, technicians, and junior team members.
• Maintain proper documentation of production/service logs, attendance, and equipment maintenance.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure machinery and equipment are functioning properly.
• Report daily progress, issues, and incidents to the higher management.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Automobile Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 1–5 years of relevant experience in the automobile industry.
• Strong knowledge of automobile production or service operations.
• Good leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or other operational methodologies (preferred).
• Basic computer skills for report generation and documentation.

Preferred Skills:

• Working knowledge of ERP systems or workshop management software.
• Experience handling audits (internal/external) and safety compliance.
• Ability to work under pressure and in shift patterns (if required).

Salary: 20k to 25k

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
