Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop hydraulic filter assemblies and components (e.g., filter housings, filter elements) using SolidWorks software.

  • Design and develop hydraulic accumulators (piston, bladder, and diaphragm types) using SolidWorks software.

  • Develop sensor-based contamination monitoring systems with IoT-enabled solutions for real-time hydraulic fluid monitoring, filter health/clogging conditions.

  • Develop precise 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings with appropriate GD&T standards.

  • Create, manage, and update Bill of Materials (BOMs).

  • Assist the Sales team by responding to Requests for Quotation (RFQs).

  • Benchmark filter and accumulator assemblies, sensor integration, and contamination monitoring systems against industry standards and competitor products.

  • Coordinate with production, quality, procurement, and R&D to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals.

  • Assist in prototype development, validation testing, and continuous design improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant hydraulic filtration and IoT system standards.

  • Support engineering change requests and maintain updated design documentation.

Education:

  • B.E./B-Tech or Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Product Design Engineering.

Experience:

  • 5-9 years of design experience, preferably in hydraulic systems, filtration, accumulators, sensor technologies, and mechatronic system integration.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in SolidWorks CAD (mandatory) & AutoCAD.

  • Strong working knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5 or equivalent standards.

  • Ability to integrate sensors and IoT solutions into hydraulic filtration systems for monitoring and control.

  • Experience in sensor selection and calibration for contamination monitoring and system diagnostics.

  • Experience with BOM creation and documentation.

  • Familiar with manufacturing processes such as casting, machining, welding, and sheet metal fabrication.

Other Skills:

  • Good understanding of mechanical drawing standards and tolerancing.

  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
