Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking candidate for the position of Associate SDET at Pune location.Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design and develop both automated and manual test cases to validate product features.
• Run automated and manual tests as needed to validate product defect fixes and functionality.
• Work with the Engineering manager and a geographically distributed team to understand product requirements and features.
• Triage test failures on a daily basis.
• Contribute to QA reports and provide input on release metrics.
• Contribute to and validate product documentation.
• Participation in a team on-call rotation providing seven-day week out of hours coverage, including the provision of after-hours and weekend support work when required.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field BS/MS or BTech (Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or another related technical field).
Skills:
- Skilled in at least one common scripting language such as Python, Perl, or bash. Preferably Python.
- GNU/Linux with hands-on experience.
- General familiarity and experience with storage components e.g. SAS, SATA, RAID, NVDIMM, NVMe, Encryption, SSD, cluster concepts.
- Familiarity in configuring, testing, and troubleshooting multiple hardware components like NIC, NVDIMM, Drives, etc..,
- Basic knowledge of any one of the hypervisors like VMware, HyperV, RHEV.
