Job Description:

Key duties involve coordinating resources, conducting inspections, maintaining records, resolving conflicts, and communicating with stakeholders like clients and engineers to ensure all work aligns with project plans and specifications. 
 
Key responsibilities
  • Project oversight: Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on-site, ensuring they align with project plans, specifications, and timelines.
  • Safety and compliance: Enforce safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any safety hazards or violations.
  • Resource and staff management: Manage the allocation of resources like labor, materials, and equipment. Coordinate and direct the activities of construction crews, subcontractors, and other staff.
  • Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the project management team, clients, contractors, and field workers. Keep all parties informed about progress and issues.
  • Problem-solving: Identify and resolve conflicts and other issues that arise during construction to keep the project on schedule.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of progress, costs, and quality control measures. Prepare and review construction-related documentation, such as progress reports and method statements.
  • Planning and scheduling: Create and manage project schedules, setting timelines and deadlines for various stages of the project.
