Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CCTV Technician to install, maintain, and repair closed-circuit television systems and related equipment. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of surveillance systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques, with a commitment to ensuring the safety and security of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and test CCTV systems, including cameras, DVRs/NVRs, monitors, and cabling.
  • Perform regular maintenance and system inspections to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to video surveillance systems.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance, ensuring proper recording and image quality.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and repairs.
  • Work with IT and security teams to integrate CCTV with access control and alarm systems.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards, local codes, and company protocols.
  • Provide training to users on basic system operations and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred (e.g., in electronics or security systems).
  • Proven experience as a CCTV technician or in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with IP-based systems and remote monitoring technologies.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel to different installation sites (if required).
  • Physical ability to lift equipment and work at heights (e.g., ladders or scaffolding).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in low-voltage systems or electronic security systems (e.g., CompTIA, NSI, or equivalent).
  • Experience with additional security systems such as access control or intruder alarms.
