Role & responsibilities

  • Hands-on experience in ducting, piping, and static equipment design for power plant projects.
  • catalogue creation, design, and engineering workflows, and detailed engineering activities.
  • Perform engineering calculations for duct sizing, equipment capacity, and design basis reports
  • Review 3D models, GA drawings, and layouts for Non pressure static equipment (tanks, silos, GCT, etc.)
  • Prepare Bill of Materials and technical specs for sizing, loading, thickness, and expansion
  • Design and finalize duct and piping routes, supports, expansion joints, and foundation drawings
  • Clash detection checking
  • Review fabrication drawings and generate material/purchase requisitions
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and scope changes

Preferred candidate profile

  • Exposure to AutoCAD, Solid Edge, E3D/AP3D,
  • Power plant Equipment knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of ducting, piping, and static equipment design
