We are a growing social media brand dedicated to creating engaging, long-form content for the Gujarati audience, with a strong presence across YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook, reaching
120,000+ followers
combined. We are looking for a highly skilled and culturally fluent editor to help us take our video production to the next level.Key Responsibilities

  • Long-Form Video Editing:
    Edit raw, long-form video footage into highly engaging and retainable final cuts for YouTube. This includes:
  • Implementing a dynamic editing style to maintain viewer interest.
  • Integrating relevant
    visuals, stock images, and explanatory text
    to enhance storytelling.
  • Ensuring smooth transitions, optimal pacing, and clear narrative flow.
  • Gujarati Closed Captioning:
    Accurately transcribe and create
    Closed Captions (CC) in the Gujarati language
    for all long-form videos.
  • YouTube Music Licensing:
    Select, source, and integrate background music that is
    100% safe for monetization on YouTube
    , strictly adhering to copyright rules (e.g., using YouTube's Audio Library, Creator Music, or licensed/royalty-free tracks).
    **Zero tolerance for copyright strikes or content ID rejections.Quality A- ssurance: Ensure all final videos meet our high standards for audio quality, color correction, and platform-specific technical specifications (aspect ratio, resolution, etc.).
  • Collaboration:
    Maintain open communication and responsiveness to feedback, ensuring the final product aligns with the channel's brand and voice.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Fluency in Gujarati:
    Must have an excellent command of the
    Gujarati language
    (reading, writing, and comprehension) for accurate closed captioning.
  • Proven Video Editing Expertise:
    Strong, demonstrable experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
  • Social Media Editing Experience:
    Proven track record of editing long-form content specifically designed for high-audience retention on YouTube.
  • Critical YouTube Music Knowledge:
    Deep understanding of YouTube's Creator Music, Audio Library, and general music licensing/copyright rules to ensure all music usage is compliant and non-rejectable.
  • Attention to Detail:
    A keen eye for visual storytelling, pacing, and continuity.
