We are seeking a highly skilled and creative developer with a hybrid skill set in Extended Reality (XR/AR/VR) and Python-based backend engineering to join our innovation-driven team. The ideal candidate will work on immersive experiences integrated with robust backend systems, powering real-time interaction, data analytics, and scalable APIs.

Key Responsibilities

XR / AR / VR Development:

  • Design and develop immersive XR applications using Unity3D or Unreal Engine.
  • Implement AR/VR features using ARKit, ARCore, WebXR, or Vuforia.
  • Integrate 3D assets, animations, and interactive elements in immersive environments.
  • Optimize XR performance across devices (Mobile, HoloLens, Oculus, etc.).
  • Collaborate with designers to build user-friendly XR experiences.

Backend Engineering (Python)

  • Build scalable APIs using FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
  • Implement event-driven microservices, background task queues (e.g., Celery, RabbitMQ).
  • Design secure, efficient data models using PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
  • Enable real-time communication using WebSockets or Socket.IO.
  • Integrate backend systems with XR frontends, manage session/data sync.
  • Write modular, testable, clean Python code following DevOps best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 6 years of total experience, with at least:
  • 3+ years in XR/AR/VR development
  • 3+ years in backend engineering with Python
  • Hands-on with Unity3D (C#) or Unreal Engine (C++/Blueprints)
  • Experience in ARKit, ARCore, or OpenXR
  • 3D pipeline knowledge: importing models, shaders, lighting
  • Understanding of rendering performance, frame rate optimization
  • Strong proficiency in Python 3.x
  • Experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask
  • Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, OAuth2/JWT, API security
  • PostgreSQL or NoSQL (MongoDB) data modeling and optimization
  • Familiarity with Docker, Git, CI/CD

Preferred/Good-to-Have

  • Experience with WebXR or
  • Integration of XR with IoT or external sensors
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, AWS/Azure, or cloud-based deployment
  • Working knowledge of 3D modeling tools (e.g., Blender, Maya)

Basic understanding of AI/ML for gesture or voice interaction in XR
