Position Summary

The Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment. The role involves supervising housekeeping staff, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring guest/staff satisfaction through efficient housekeeping services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained as per standards.
  • Assign duties, inspect work, and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Train, motivate, and monitor housekeeping team members for effective performance.
  • Maintain housekeeping supplies and ensure optimal usage.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, restrooms, common areas, and facilities.
  • Handle staff schedules, attendance, and leave management.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Address guest/staff complaints promptly and ensure corrective action.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and other departments for repairs and special cleaning projects.
  • Prepare reports on housekeeping activities, staff performance, and inventory usage.
