Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will assist with daily accounting tasks, manage financial transactions, and ensure the accuracy of financial records, all while supporting the smooth operations of our travel and tourism company, specializing in UAE and GCC visas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations.
  • Handle petty cash and monitor cash flow.
  • Assist with tax filings and audits as needed.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant or in a similar role (preferably in the travel or tourism industry).
  • Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in the travel and tourism industry is a plus.
  • Familiarity with UAE or GCC financial regulations is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
