Role Description

This is a full-time Design Expert - Mechanical role located on-site in Ahmedabad. The Design Expert will be responsible for creating mechanical designs using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, ensuring maintenance of mechanical systems, conducting inspections, and participating in automotive-related projects. The role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

MEP Design Engineer – Mechanical
with a strong background in
building services design
, including
Plumbing
,
Fire Fighting
, and
HVAC systems
. The ideal candidate will bring
8–10 years of hands-on design experience
and a deep understanding of mechanical systems

integration in large-scale building projects

  • Lead the design and development of mechanical systems (
    HVAC, plumbing, fire Fighting)
    for building projects
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs using AutoCAD/Revit or similar tools
  • Ensure designs comply with local codes, standards, and project requirements
  • Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and electrical teams for integrated design solutions
  • Conduct design reviews and value engineering to optimize system performance and cost
  • Provide technical support during project execution and resolve design-related issues
  • Perform site visits to verify design implementation and support commissioning activities

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
    or related field
  • Minimum
    8–10 years of experience in MEP design for building projects
  • Strong expertise
    in HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting system design
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
  • Familiarity with IS codes, NBC, and international standards
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadline
