Graduation in Architecture /Planning/Civil/ Transport Engineering and Postgraduation in Transportation planning from a reputed university in India or abroad, with a cumulative experience of minimum 10 years. Experience may include technical expertise in urban transport planning, traffic analysis, and policy formulation, with proven experience working on large-scale city or regional planning projects. Key responsibilities will include - Lead the development of comprehensive transportation and mobility strategies within the city master plan. Analyze current and projected travel demand, traffic patterns, and public transport systems. Coordinate and conduct transport surveys, stakeholder consultations, and data collection. Develop multi-modal transport frameworks, including road networks, public transportation, non-motorized transport, and last-mile connectivity. Integrate land use and transportation planning to support sustainable, accessible, and efficient urban mobility. Prepare transport models, scenario analysis, and forecasting using industry-standard software. Recommend policies, regulations, and infrastructure interventions to improve mobility and safety. Prepare high-quality technical reports, maps, and presentation materials for stakeholders and public consultations. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including urban planners, GIS experts, engineers, and government authorities. Ensure alignment with national, state, and local planning guidelines and best practices.

Proficient knowledge of Odia language is a plus

Software skills: transport modeling and analysis software such as PTV Visum for travel demand modeling, network analysis, and scenario forecasting; PTV Vissim for microsimulation of traffic operations and intersection analysis; Cube for travel demand modeling and transportation system analysis; ArcGIS for spatial analysis, mapping, and data visualization, prepare stakeholder presentations and reports using Microsoft PowerPoint, and create high-quality diagrams, maps, and visuals with Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
