Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis of plasticizers, fertilizer additives, and their applications.
  • Perform wet chemical analysis with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as:
  • Gas Chromatograph (GC)
  • Karl Fischer Titrator
  • Viscometer
  • Prepare, test, and evaluate samples in accordance with ASTM methods, ISO standards, and internal SOPs.
  • Maintain proper documentation, calibration logs, and test records.
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and quality management systems.
  • Support R&D and QC teams in product development, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
  • Participate in method development, validation, and improvement of analytical procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Chemistry or related field.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in laboratory testing, preferably in the chemical, fertilizer, or polymer additive industry.
  • Hands-on experience with analysis of plasticizers/fertilizer additives and understanding of their application.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in wet analysis techniques.
  • Working knowledge of ASTM methods, ISO documentation, and calibration procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong attention to detail.
