We are seeking an innovative Mechanical Design Engineer to join our R&D/Product Development team. The role involves CAD modeling, simulation, and creating rugged, precision housing solutions for camera systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop 3D CAD models and 2D drawings (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360)

  • Apply GD&T for tolerance and assembly accuracy

  • Design enclosures/brackets using plastics and sheet metal

  • Conduct FEA (structural, thermal) to validate designs

  • Lead prototyping (3D printing, CNC) and testing

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Qualifications:

  • B.E./
    B.Tech
    in Mechanical Engineering or related field

  • Minimum 1 year experience in CAD modeling, GD&T, and documentation

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools

  • Knowledge of plastics, sheet metal design, and simulations.

Preferred Skills:

  • IoT/edge device or camera enclosure experience

  • DFM/DFT knowledge

  • Rapid prototyping exposure

  • Awareness of IP65/MIL-STD standards
