Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced
IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) Developer
to
design, develop, and maintain financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting applications.
The role involves working closely with finance and business teams to translate requirements into scalable TM1 models, ensuring high performance, accuracy, and reliability of planning solutions.

Experience : 3 to 4 years

Location: Pan India

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain TM1/Planning Analytics models, cubes, dimensions, rules, and TurboIntegrator (TI) processes.

Work with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional TM1 solutions.

Optimize TM1 models for performance, scalability, and usability.

Develop and maintain reporting solutions using TM1 Web, Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW), and Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE).

Create and manage data integration workflows between TM1 and external systems (ERP, Data Warehouse, BI tools).

Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for TM1 applications.

Ensure data integrity, security, and proper user access controls.

Document technical designs, data flows, and business logic.

Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements in alignment with IT policies.

Collaborate with finance, business analysts, and IT teams to ensure timely delivery of planning solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or related field.

3–7 years of hands-on experience with IBM Planning Analytics / TM1.

Strong expertise in TM1 model building, rules, feeders, and TI scripting.

Experience with Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) and Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE).

Solid understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

Knowledge of SQL and integration techniques with source systems.

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Cognos Analytics or other BI/reporting tools.

Knowledge of cloud-based Planning Analytics (IBM PA on Cloud).

Familiarity with Agile delivery methodology.

Exposure to Python or other scripting languages for automation.
