Role & responsibilities

  • Expertise in Income tax/ Direct Tax laws in India
  • Reviewing the tax positions and advising Company on its compliance, reviewing the changes in tax laws and its impact on the Company
  • Reviewing the major transactions from tax perspective, review the possibility of tax efficiency in new or existing transactions
  • Handling the Income tax assessment and enquiries/ communication with Department
  • Handling the Income tax Audits, ensuring the tax compliances are fully met
  • Coordination the external consultants on the various aspects of taxation including tax opinion
  • Advising the internal teams on compliance with Direct Tax laws
  • Working knowledge of Indirect Taxes (GST) and ensuring Indirect Tax Compliance

Preferred candidate profile

Chartered accountant with 7 to 10 years of experience working in Direct Tax either in a Corporate or reputed CA firm with exposure to Financial Services
