Role Overview:

We're seeking a
DevOps Engineer with backend coding skills
to design, monitor, and maintain cloud infrastructure for our AI and mobile-first platforms. You'll lead the setup of scalable environments, automate deployments, and collaborate with developers to optimize backend performance and reliability.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll work across
engineering, backend, product, and QA
teams to support rapid releases and maintain system integrity.

Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Automation & Cloud Management

• Design, manage, and scale cloud infrastructure using
  Terraform
  ,
  AWS CloudFormation
  , or
  Pulumi
• Deploy and maintain services in
  AWS
  (EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS, Lambda, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFront)
• Implement
  secure networking
  , IAM roles/policies, and proper resource tagging for governance and cost visibility
• Manage
  infrastructure security, backups, and disaster recovery
  strategies

Backend Integration & Development Support

• Collaborate with backend engineers to deploy and maintain services and APIs
• Write and optimize backend logic or utility scripts in
  
  ,
  Python
  , or
  Go
• Work with frameworks like
  
  or
  FastAPI
  for integration and service-level improvements
• Debug and resolve production issues in collaboration with the development team
• Contribute to backend performance tuning and environment consistency (dev/stage/prod)

CI/CD & Deployment Automation

• Design, build, and manage
  CI/CD pipelines
  using
  GitHub Actions
  ,
  Jenkins
  ,
  GitLab CI
  , or
  CircleCI
• Automate multi-environment deployments for microservices and APIs
• Integrate
  testing
  ,
  build validation

  automated rollback
  strategies
• Ensure continuous delivery of containerised applications using

  ECS/Fargate/EKS

Monitoring, Security & Reliability

• Implement observability with tools like
  CloudWatch

  Prometheus
• Set up centralised
  logging
  ,
  alerting
  , and
  incident response
  workflows (e.g., using ELK or Loki stacks)
• Conduct regular
  security reviews
  ,
  vulnerability scanning

  cloud cost optimization
• Support uptime SLAs and production reliability through proactive monitoring and automation

Requirements:

• 4–6 years
  of experience in
  DevOps, Site Reliability, or Cloud Engineering
  roles
• Strong expertise in
  AWS Cloud Services
  (EC2, ECS/Fargate, RDS, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM)
• Proficiency with
  Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  tools —
  Terraform
  or
  AWS CloudFormation
• Hands-on experience with
  CI/CD tools
  — GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
• Solid backend coding experience
  in
  , Python, or Go
  (must be able to read, debug, and write functional backend code)
• Experience with
  Docker
  , container management, and orchestration (ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes)
• Strong knowledge of
  Linux systems
