I. Tooling Design & Setup:

  • Assist in the
    Design & Development
    of
    fixtures, tackles, gauges, and special tools
    for Assembly, Testing, Painting, Packing, and Fabrication shops.
  • Establish new fastening tools
    and assembly fixtures.
  • Ensure proper system is in place for
    updated wear part, fixture, special gauges drawings
    and system documents.
  • Process Strategy & NPI Support:
  • Assist in establishing the
    Facility / Process
    for new Release Application codes or modified component designs.
  • Establish best process and practices through
    market research
    for new tool implementation.
  • Drive
    Continual improvement
    through Productivity and Quality improvement activities via
    Process Change Management
    .
  • Vendor & Resource Management:
  • Lead
    New vendor development
    for fixture spares, assembly tools, lifting tackles, and special gauges.
  • Manage
    Resource management
    and
    coordination with Cross Functional Teams (CFTs)
    .
  • Prepare
    annual budget
    of ATPP tools, fixtures, and spares.

II. System Integration & Digital Data Management

  • BOM & ERP Management:
  • Ensure
    Timely release of E-BOM (Engineering)
    to
    M-BOM (Manufacturing)
    and verify the accuracy after release.
  • Ensure implementation of
    Manufacturing BOM
    , assisting in creating new manufacturing groups and splitting of groups.
  • Coordinate with AE and PPC for
    loose item definition in ERP
    and
    accuracy in Packing reports
    .
  • Documentation & Compliance:
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience of
    PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)
    for Manufacturing BOM and Engineering BOM management.
