We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with GST compliance, and supporting management with reports and reconciliations. Proficiency in Tally Prime and knowledge of basic taxation is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and maintain daily accounting transactions for sales and purchases.
  • Handle voucher preparation and posting in the accounting system.
  • Process payroll entries and ensure accuracy in salary records.
  • Track and reconcile credit card statements and payments.
  • Prepare and maintain outstanding receivables and payables statements.
  • Coordinate and follow up with customers/suppliers for payment collections and settlements.
  • Manage and reconcile petty cash transactions.
  • Ensure proper filing and organization of accounting documents.
  • Generate reports, statements, and summaries as instructed by the management.
  • Support in monthly and year-end closing activities.
  • GST scope of work:
  • Assist in preparation and filing of monthly/quarterly GST returns.
  • Maintain records for GST input and output credit.
  • Reconcile GST ledgers with purchase/sales registers.
  • Coordinate for GST-related queries, notices, or audits.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in accounting or a similar role (freshers with strong knowledge may be considered).
  • Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Full-time position.
  • Reports directly to the Accounts Manager.

Pay: ₹25, ₹30,000.00 per month
