Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement websites using WordPress.
  • Develop custom themes and plugins based on project requirements.
  • Customize existing themes, templates, and plugins.
  • Ensure high-performance and availability of websites.
  • Manage website maintenance, updates, and performance optimizations.
  • Work with design and content teams to translate UI/UX designs into functional websites.
  • Perform website backups, security monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Integrate third-party services and APIs (e.g., payment gateways, CRMs).
  • Optimize websites for SEO, speed, and responsiveness.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in WordPress CMS (Gutenberg, Classic Editor, Customizer)
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP
  • Experience with popular page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.)
  • Theme and plugin development/customization
  • Understanding of REST APIs and AJAX
  • Basic knowledge of MySQL and database queries
  • Tools & Platforms:
  • Git, GitHub or Bitbucket
  • cPanel, FTP, phpMyAdmin, Hosting Environments
  • SEO tools and best practices
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, and tag management

Educational Qualification
