You will actively be involved in offering valuable guidance and support to other developers, thereby building meaningful e-commerce solutions. This will be done for a range of businesses i.e. from early-stage brands to brands serving close to a million consumers.

As a Senior Shopify Developer, you will handle projects independently and bring about a positive change in the e-commerce industry.

Role & responsibilities

  • Understand task requirements and provide effort estimates of assigned tasks.
  • Work on client requirements end-to-end, right from writing code to reporting performance issues and knowing how best to deal with them.
  • Build performance-oriented standard code that runs on all major browsers.
  • Write about, present, and share what youre learning and working on, both internally and with the wider community via our blog, guides, and social channels.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Expert understanding of Shopify's code structure (Themes, App Development, Integrations, etc.)
  • Proficiency in creating custom Shopify themes and altering pre-existing templates.
  • Seasoned knowledge of product, collection, order, & customer APIs in Shopify.
  • Mandatory experience in any server-side language (PHP, , Ruby, or Python).
  • Cognizant of the process for app and themes submission in Shopify.
  • Exhibited skills working on a minimum of 1 full App development cycle from scratch to listing an app on the Shopify App Store.
