Buisness Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst with 4+ years of experience, preferably within Healthcare industry, to support the translation of business needs into well-defined functional requirements. This role involves working closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and Client Teams to ensure clarity, shared understanding, and successful delivery of platform features. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capability, documentation excellence, and the ability to communicate effectively across both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
   
   Act as a connector between Product, Design, Engineering, and Client Teams to translate business needs into structured user stories and functional specifications.Participate in agile ceremonies including grooming, Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.Ensure user stories are clear, testable, and meet acceptance criteria to drive successful development execution.

2. Platform & Workflow Understanding :
   
   Develop a comprehensive understanding of the platform's workflows, data models, user personas, and configuration layers.Analyze feature behavior across different user contexts—patients, clinicians, healthcare admins, and enterprise clients.Document end-to-end platform workflows involving UI/UX, backend, rules engine, and third-party integrations.

3. Documentation Leadership:
   
   Create and maintain key internal and external documentation including BRDs, PRDs, user stories, workflow diagrams, user guides, SOPs, configuration guides, and onboarding playbooks.Maintain and organize documentation in version-controlled repositories such as Confluence.Encourage and support a documentation-first mindset for product clarity and stakeholder alignment.

4. Stakeholder Engagement:
   
   Conduct requirement gathering workshops with internal teams and external healthcare partners or clients.Present workflows, requirement specs, and feature updates to product leadership, engineering teams, QA, support, and client groups.Support UAT planning and execution, ensuring business workflows are validated end-to-end.

5. Strategic Product Support:
   
   Contribute to roadmap discussions, feature prioritization, and release sequencing aligned with business objectives.Promote reusability and scalability of platform components, configuration models, and role-based access controls.Support continuous improvement by identifying workflow gaps, product edge cases, and areas to optimize platform usability.

Qualifications & Skills

1. 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Product Analyst.
2. Experience working with SaaS platforms, preferably in Healthcare AI or Clinical/Health Data Systems.
3. Strong understanding of agile methodologies, backlog management, and user story definition.
4. Proven experience in creating structured product documentation for both internal and customer-facing use.
5. Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS concepts, permission models, and configuration workflows.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
7. Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Zoho, Microsoft Excel, Power BI and of Agile/Scrum methodologies is an advantage.
8. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

1. Exposure to healthcare workflows, EHR/EMR systems, or medical data structures.
2. Experience documenting APIs, backend service interactions, or data pipelines.
3. Familiarity with customer onboarding, help-center knowledge base creation, or support document systems.
4. Awareness of regulatory considerations (e.g., HIPAA, PHI handling) in healthcare product environments.
