Senior Engineering Manager

Role Description:

Senior Engineering Manager for FinancialAccounting will be responsible for overseeing engineering managers and teams involved in R2R(RecordToReport) and Treasury(TR) initiatives. This individual will ensure that all engineering activities align with the organization's objectives while fostering effective and innovative deployment and integration of automation solutions within the Financial Systems landscape.

Managing Teams

• Oversee the delivery and end-to-end lifecycle of R2R and TR initiatives; this includes backlog management, quarterly planning, and ensuring processes are ready and aligned with business requirements.
• Drive adoption of best practices in development, solutioning, deployment, and operations, ensuring that the team operates autonomously and entrepreneurially while supporting a growing portfolio of automation use cases.

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience managing technical teams delivering Enterprise solutions (SAP) in the area of Financial Accounting at scale
• Must have a background in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• Practical experience in developing / implementing / managing SAP R2R and TR functions (14+ years)
• Solid understanding of business process improvement, compliance, risk management, and relevant regulations (especially within Finance and accounting domains)
• Excellent project and stakeholder management skills; able to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences (English language proficiency required).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and proficiency in tools like Gitlab for configuration management is a plus

• Strong work ethic, high team spirit, and the ability to drive accountability and performance

• Experience in shaping and leading a software engineering function across multiple products or business areas (5+ years as a senior manager)
