About the Project

The project, developed is a Sales Cloud-based tender management platform. The solution enables partner business users to enter their tender requirements, track bidding processes, evaluate bidder proposals, and finalize selections efficiently. The system streamlines the bidding lifecycle within Salesforce, ensuring transparency and automation.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and customize Salesforce applications using developer toolkit to implement complex business logic.
  • Perform bulk data imports and management using Apex Data Loader.
  • Implement Batch Apex and Schedulable Apex classes to handle large data volumes and scheduled processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Design and develop custom objects, Apex classes, controller classes, and triggers to meet diverse application needs.
  • Build and deploy Lightning components for Salesforce Communities to enhance customer experience and usability.
  • Configure validation rules, workflow rules, and process automation to align with business logic and ensure data integrity.
  • Develop Lightning Flows to automate complex business processes.
  • Participate in unit testing, debugging, and deployment of Salesforce configurations and customizations.
  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices in code structure, naming conventions, and data model design.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and platform.
  • Proficiency in Apex Classes, Triggers, Lightning Components, and Flows.
  • Experience with Batch Apex and Schedulable Apex implementation.
  • Good understanding of Salesforce configuration tools like workflows, validation rules, and process builders.
  • Experience with Apex Data Loader and data migration best practices.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Communities (Experience Cloud) is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Good to Have

  • Salesforce Developer Certification (Platform Developer I/II).
  • Experience in integrating Salesforce with third-party systems or APIs.
  • Exposure to Tender/Bidding management or CRM-related business processes.

Education

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
