Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an MD Microbiologist located in Trivandrum. Responsibilities include conducting microbiological investigations, analyzing samples, preparing detailed reports, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and collaborating with other clinical lab professionals to deliver accurate diagnostic results. Daily tasks may also involve maintaining laboratory equipment, staying updated with the latest research in microbiology, and participating in quality control activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in microbiological investigations and analysis
• Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment maintenance and safety protocols
• Ability to prepare detailed and accurate diagnostic reports
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with other clinical professionals
• MD in Microbiology or a related field
• Compliance with CAP and NABL accreditation standards is a plus
• Capability to stay updated with the latest research and advancements in microbiology
