Social Worker

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and resourceful Social Worker to support individuals and families in overcoming personal and systemic challenges. The Social Worker will assess client needs, connect them with community resources, mobilization, program organizing, provide counseling, and advocate for their well-being.(other works time to time assigned)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct client assessments to determine individual needs, strengths, and goals.
• Develop and implement individualized service plans in collaboration with clients.
• Provide crisis intervention, emotional support, and short- or long-term counseling.
• Connect clients to appropriate community resources (housing, healthcare, employment, education, etc.).
• Mobilizing & community program organizing.
• Advocate for clients' rights and access to services.
• Maintain accurate and timely case records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other professionals (e.g., healthcare providers, educators, law enforcement) to coordinate care.
• Monitor client progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Stay informed on best practices, policies, and laws related to social work.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW) or related field required; Master's in Social Work (MSW) preferred.
• Proven experience in a social work or case management role.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Empathy, patience, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
• Knowledge of community resources and social services systems.

Work Environment:

• May involve work in schools, hospitals, clinics, government agencies, or in clients' homes.
• Regular travel may be required, depending on client needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
