The Chief Transformation Office (CTO) function oversees group-wide transformation on strategically important, mission critical projects for the firm. We're aligned to our key businesses across the group and operate to global standards and governance across our programs. Our purpose is to support Nomura's business strategy and deliver consistent group-wide transformation based on common operating principles.

Role description:

The project manager will be aligned to strategic transformation programs within the CTO International Change Wholesale Front Office team, managing complex front-to-back change initiatives and digital transformation projects. The role is aligned to Nomura's Global Prime business and will work closely with business, functions and technology stakeholders to deliver complex front to back change.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project manage business and technology transformation programs
• Manage cross-functional project teams and stakeholder relationships
• Oversee project planning, execution, and risk management
• Establish governance frameworks and ensure regulatory compliance
• Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines
• Drive benefits realization and continuous improvement

Required Skills & Experience:

Business/Technical:

• Minimum 10 to 12 years of experience in consulting or handling change programs within investment banking.
• Proven track record of delivering complex change projects within financial markets/trading environments
• Strong understanding of investment banking/markets products and operations
• Equities Prime Brokerage (Cash or Synthetic) across some or all of trade capture, lifecycle, risk & margin and client experience
• Equity Finance / Securities Lending including Availability, Trade Management, Inventory Management, Tri party and Collateral. Awareness of regional variations.
• Sound understanding of financial products including Derivatives, Corporate Bonds, Converts, Loans, Swaps, Equities and their Trade Life Cycle
• Understanding of how Prime relates to Equities and Global Markets
• Useful to have knowledge of industry standard platforms such as Traiana, Geneva, Access Fintech, Global 1, Syncova
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools
• Knowledge of financial market regulations and control frameworks
• Ability to translate complex technical requirements into business solutions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (Business, Finance, Technology, or related)
• Professional certifications (Agile, PMP, PRINCE2)
